Lyza Wilson-The Voice of Diversity
By: Keith  Hannaleck

Article Hub: Lyza Wilson-The Voice of Diversity

Lyza Wilson has one hell of voice. She comes from the bloodline of pure singers that do not need any studio enhancements to embellish her sound. Her self-titled album sets the record straight for those that may have had any doubt she is the real deal. Trust me, she is. Just as her curly red locks may indicate…she is on fire.
This woman can do it all, she rocks with angst (I Don’t Care), gets into an 80’s British pop like rhythm and blues groove (Ancient History), and sounds like a soul sister (i.e. Aretha Franklin) on the live cut from the Lizard Lounge “Maybe I’m A Fool.”
I truly respect any vocalist that is not afraid to travel all over the musical map with their pipes, and this woman really covers some ground on this album. This quality material should not be missed by anyone who appreciates good musicianship and honest hardworking vocals from the heart. Pick up the Lyza Wilson CD and get that shot in arm of musical energy you have been searching for.

"Check out that vibrant red hair! Fortunately for Lyza her hair’s not the only thing that sticks out; her singer/songwriter sound is sure to get the heads out of the sand and focused squarely on her. Each song sways with a swagger that is destined to make its way out of dive bars and into the bigger venues in the bigger cities. Incredibly she’s in gigging New York City, has toured Europe, and her single “I Like It” is already being shopped to national radio, all amazingly while this is just her debut album. Can you imagine where she’ll be after five albums?"
