Daniella Landelius grew up in Stockholm, Sweden. She has had a design pencil in her hand for as long as she can remember.  Daniella studied art and design at The Danderyds Gymnasium (graduating with honors), where she had her own Solo exhibit at the age of 17. She participated in a group show at the Liljewahls Museum of art, furthered her studies with 2 years of Illustration at the prestigious Ringling School of Art and Design and thereafter earned her BFA in fashion design at Parsons School of Art and Design.

In 1998 Daniella Landelius moved to New York City to work for Tahari, Theory, Ralph Lauren (as Design Assistant) and ultimately to Loro Piana, in the visual department.

In addition to working on her own line, which was released in 2005, Daniella has provided set and costume design for Video, including dance diva Eha (video "I Close My Eyes"), pop singer Lyza Wilson (video "In Your Face"), alternative band "The Radiant",  an infomercial for Stephon Marbury (NFL basketball player), Deja Blu (styling their Denim Line), decorating MTV’s store window in 2005.  In 2006 she also teamed up with designer Victor De Souza for the contemporary Ruskin Summer ‘07 Line. 

The summer of 07 her work was exhibited Corscaden Gallery, in Keene Valley, New York.  She launched her Angels and pin up collection at O gallery in the Old Town of Stockholm, Sweden. She's now also being represented by Art Form gallery in prestigious Ostermalm, a galleri epicenter of Stockholm, Sweden.

Daniella also is represented by Galerie des Lombards in the historical town of Mougins, (10min from Canne on the amazing French riviera, The Cote de Sur") former home for art greats such as Picasso and Matisse.

As a member of the East Hampton Artists Alliance she has held Art talks at the Guild Hall, Ashweigh Hall.  She participated in the Annual Artist Tour, (together with her fellow artists/her interview can be seen on Hampton TV), exhibits in Walk Tall Gallery in downtown East Hampton, Hampton City Hall's Summer 2008 "Boom" Show,  Ashweigh Halls Summer 2008 Show.   She debuted with her first Solo Art Show "Swedish Fish" at Surface Library in East Hampton during on of the biggest art weekends, Hampton Scope. (gallery is right across from The home of Jackson Pollack and Lee Krasners in the springs.)

She joined up with International Swede in New York City for the annual Midsummer Celebration, This year held at downtown hotspot "Hiro" in the Maritime hotel where she was in charge of art and decor as the evenings set designer.  She decorated the Store Window for Madison Avenue's Women's Boutique "Worldly Things" (depicting a young woman who escaped a charity luncheon fulfilling her families philanthropically demands, to in the future tie her in to the cream de la cream of movers and shakers in Politics, Fashion, Society to surrender in to her true sanctuary , her world , her dream of leading a life as a painter....

Daniella Landelius in also the main contemporary artist at The Venue, a high end premier gallery in Bloomington, Indiana.

She is currently working on her next exhibit,  Daniella is constantly painting and creating,   Please see her work at the Landelius Gallery in NYC.
